Strict Adherence to Warehouse Food Safety Standards | YH Successfully Conducts BRCGS S&D Food Safety Management System Certification TrainingIssuing time:2026-07-30 09:59
To continuously enhance the company’s food safety management capabilities, strengthen standardized control over food warehousing and distribution processes, and further solidify YH’s comprehensive management capabilities for food-related projects, YH recently invited SGS, a renowned industry certification body, to conduct specialized training for all staff on the BRCGS S&D Global Standard for Storage and Distribution Issue 4.
As an internationally authoritative standard recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), BRCGS S&D serves as a core entry threshold for audits within food import and export supply chains and international brand owners.
Amid today’s complex and ever-changing market environment, client expectations of food supply chain service providers have evolved from basic storage and transportation capabilities to full-chain food safety control and compliance assurance capabilities. In response, YH regards this training as a core initiative for upgrading its food supply chain compliance management system, implementing high-standard internal controls to ensure full-process food safety management and continuously delivering higher levels of supply chain security for clients. This training was closely aligned with the actual operational scenarios of YH’s food projects, providing systematic and detailed instruction on all dimensions of compliance requirements: 1. Food Safety Hazard Identification In-depth study of the identification and prevention of physical, chemical, and microbiological contamination, allergen cross-contamination, and deliberate tampering risks, strengthening hazard awareness among all staff and eliminating hidden safety risks in warehousing operations. 2. Standardized On-Site Warehouse Management Comprehensive coverage of on-site operational standards, including warehouse zoning, temperature and humidity control, equipment and facility protection, racking safety, pest control, cleaning and sanitation, micro-warehouse management, and damaged goods control. 3. Allergen-Specific Control Focused training on high-risk requirements for the 14 categories of food allergens, including segregated storage, time-separated operations, dedicated equipment usage, changeover management, and prevention of cross-contact, fully aligned with international audit standards. 4. Cold Chain Vehicles and Transportation Management Systematic instruction on full-process standards covering vehicle qualification, pre-cooling control, in-transit temperature monitoring, emergency response to equipment failure, maintenance management, transportation traceability, and distribution compliance, ensuring an unbroken cold chain and full data traceability. 5. Documentation System and Traceability Requirements Implementation of system management requirements including four-hour rapid traceability, product release protocols, supplier control, internal audit mechanisms, non-conformity corrective actions, and continuous improvement. 6. Analysis of the Assessment Criteria and Key Areas Where Marks Are Lost Combined with real-world external audit cases, the training explained BRCGS grading rules, critical non-conformities, and the determination logic for major and minor non-conformities, ensuring all staff understand the standards, the audits, and the corrective actions.
This training represents not only an iterative upgrade of internal professional capabilities for all staff, but also an important practice for YH to strengthen multi-dimensional operational compliance management and build a fully controllable, transparent, and trustworthy food supply chain.
Going forward, YH will continue to use BRCGS international standards as its operational benchmark. Relying on a high-standard, strict-norm, and full-closed-loop management system, YH will fortify its food safety defenses and provide clients with safe, stable, compliant, and high-quality warehousing and distribution supply chain services.
