YH Implements ISO 28000 Standard | Specialised Training on Strengthening Supply Chain Security Management Concludes SuccessfullyIssuing time:2026-08-12 17:23
As global trade conditions grow increasingly complex, with geopolitical conflicts, regional trade barriers, and other uncertainties continuing to compound, globalized supply chains have entered a new phase of high volatility and elevated risk. "Resilience" and "sustainability" have become the core keywords of modern supply chain development. ISO28000, as the globally recognized authoritative standard for supply chain security management, serves as the essential upgrade tool for enterprises to address supply chain risks, balance security with development, and close management loop gaps. Recently, YH successfully organized and conducted specialized training on the ISO28000 Supply Chain Security Management System. Core personnel from various departments gathered to jointly undertake this "mandatory course" in supply chain security.
This training precisely focused on the interpretation of ISO28000 system standard clauses. SGS senior experts were invited to conduct in-depth analysis combined with YH's actual operational scenarios, making abstract standards accessible, practical, and actionable. Regarding the ISO28000 Supply Chain Security Management System, the training began with risks across the entire supply chain process, providing detailed explanations on how to identify security hazards in procurement, transportation, warehousing, and delivery, as well as how to build an "end-to-end" security protection network through scientific risk assessment, standardized operational procedures, and emergency response mechanisms. Whether in product traceability, personnel qualification review, or warehousing security control, the experts provided specific guidance based on the company's actual scenarios, helping participants understand that "supply chain security is not a matter of a single link, but a systematic project requiring the participation of all personnel."
The implementation of the ISO28000 system is not a completely new disruptive transformation, but rather an iterative upgrade and complementary integration built upon YH's three existing mature systems: TAPA, AEO, and ISO27001.
Currently, YH's AEO customs advanced certification system focuses on import and export customs clearance compliance and cross-border trade risk control, establishing the compliance baseline for the company's cross-border supply chain. The TAPA cargo security framework specifically strengthens security standards for the transport and storage of goods, ensuring that the safety of the supply chain is maintained. The ISO27001 Information Security Management System helps address increasingly complex security risks and global cybersecurity challenges, enhancing digital trust to ensure business continuity. Based on this, the ISO28000 supply chain security management system seamlessly integrates the advantages of the three major systems, while also filling the management gaps in the entire supply chain and across all scenarios. It covers the entire process of supply chain planning, procurement, warehousing, logistics, information, and emergency response, integrating compliance control, goods security, risk warning, and long-term improvement. The four systems complement and reinforce one another in a closed-loop linkage, forming a three-dimensional supply chain management system with AEO compliance as the foundation, TAPA security as the safeguard, ISO27001 information security as the digital shield, and ISO28000 as the enabler across all domains. This structure not only avoids the management limitations of any single system, but also eliminates process redundancy and control loopholes.
For YH, this four-dimensional integrated management model serves both as a powerful defensive barrier against complex international situations and supply chain volatility risks, and as a core strategic layout to consolidate the company's competitive advantages and achieve sustainable, high-quality supply chain development. Internally, it further standardizes operational standards for all positions and processes, fills management gaps, and comprehensively enhances supply chain resilience against risks. Externally, it leverages the combined advantages of multiple authoritative system certifications, closely aligning with global supply chain compliance and security requirements, significantly enhancing customer recognition and market competitiveness, and safeguarding the company's long-term, stable, and sustainable development.
The successful completion of this training has further elevated the security management awareness of all staff, laying a solid foundation for the company's continued advancement of standardized and normalized management. Going forward, YH will remain focused on enhancing core capabilities, implementing risk control down to every detail, and leveraging robust supply chain resilience to support the company's steady and sustained progress amid complex and ever-changing market environments.
